What are your Vanilla Sugar cookies made of?
A Dozen Eggs Sugar Cookies may contain: Unbleached All Purpose Flour, Sugar, Vegan Margarine (Vegetable Oil Blend, Water, Pea Protein, Sunflower Lecithin, Lactic Acid (Non Dairy), and Annato Extract, Salt), Clear Vanilla Extract, Vanilla Bean Paste, Powder, Sugar, Cream of Tartar, Aquafaba. 100% Vegan Decadence.
How long does it take for my cookies to arrive once I order them online?
With the exception of a few of our most popular or seasonal collections, A Dozen Eggs cookies are made to order. If we don't have a collection made, it generally takes 5 to 7 business days to schedule and produce the cookies and 1 to 5 business days for shipping.
For most residential deliveries, A Dozen Eggs cookies will ship US Priority Mail and will arrive in approximately 2-3 days from the shipment date, however, exact arrival date is not guaranteed. Priority Mail packages and they are generally delivered separate from regular mail. If the recipient is not home, a notice is left in the mailbox.
For Special Orders and Business Deliveries, A Dozen Eggs cookies cookies are shipped UPS Ground and will arrive in approximately 1-5 days from the shipment date.

How are they shipped to keep cookies from being broken and keeping them fresh?
We package all our cookies in cellophane (non chemical) bags and we twist tie and ribbon, or heat seal your cookies to keep them as fresh as possible. When we ship, we use extra bubble wrap to protect them during shipping and also provide extras at no cost, though we normally have no issues with breakage.
When would I need to order cookies so they can be delivered in a timely manner but not too early?
As far as ordering goes, we like to get you on the production calendar as soon as possible. Even if we don't know the final count. We bake and ship as close to the date you need them as possible. Once the cookies are bagged, they are fresh for six weeks, and we prefer you receive them within the first week of being made. Depending on the season our production calendar can fill up fast, so don't wait too long to place your order!
I was wondering if there is soy protein and/or soy flour in your cookies?
There is NO soy protein and/or soy flour in our cookies.
Are your cookies kosher (parve)?
No, our cookies are not kosher (parve).
Do you print edible images?
Yes, we can print you photograph or logo on edible image paper. Please note, this is edible image ink jet printer printing on edible sugar paper. Though we do our best to match Pantone Colors and Photographic details, we are limited by what the machine can print.
What about Nuts?
A Dozen Eggs sugar cookies contain no nuts. However starting on September 21, 2009, A Dozen Eggs cookies are manufactured on equipment that also manufactures nuts.
How do I include a complimentary gift message with my cookies?
A complimentary gift message information can be added to Note to Seller section when checking out. Our cards are 3.5 x 2 inches, so limit your message to 50 characters or less.
Would you be able to customize some of the cookies for me?
Yes! but... the supply of cookie cutters and icing designs are limitless so any custom cookies must be made by special order and are subject to additional charges. Custom cookies are a minimum of 24 individual cookies or 10 boxes. If you are interested in custom cookies designs, contact us at 802.259.9109 or info@adozeneggs.com.
I don't need my order for a couple of months. When should I call you?
We want to get you on our production calendar as soon as possible. Even if you aren't sure of the final quantity, give us a call so we can know your order is coming in. We don't bake and ship your cookies until as close to your event as possible, but the more time we have to plan your order the better.
How do I place a custom order?
Custom orders can be placed by calling 802.259.9109. We require shipping information and a 50% deposit at the time the order is placed to reserve space on our production schedule. Final counts are not required until 2 to 4 weeks before the delivery date. The final 50% is charged when your order ships.
Where is A Dozen Eggs Bake Shoppe located?
A Dozen Eggs cookies is located in Mount Holly, Vermont. After 16 years living and working in Boston, Massachusetts, we have moved our cookie factory to the bucolic splendor of Vermont. Don't fret though, because you can still order our cookies to be delivered anywhere in the USA.

Do you make your cookies in your house?
No. A Dozen Eggs makes all our cookies in our licensed Vermont production bakery. We are also serve-safe certified.
I have a large cookie order and you are a small shop. Can you produce large order?
A Dozen Eggs may be small but we are extremely flexible. We can produce almost any order you can give us. Just call and ask and we will figure out a way to get it done.
How long are your cookies fresh for?
A Dozen Eggs cookies can remain fresh for about four to six weeks if properly stored. We recommend keeping them in a cool, dry place when not being eaten.
What if I want to cancel my order?
Order cancellation before 2 weeks of the shipment date will result in a 50% charge of the total order.
Order cancellation within 2 weeks of the shipment date will result in a 50% to 100% charge of the total order, depending on where we are in production.
How much does it cost to ship my package?
Cookie Collection Shipping: A Dozen Eggs charges a flat shipping fee of $11.55 for orders up to $48.00, $15.55 for orders up to $110.00, and $19.55 for orders $150.00 and above. Online orders above $500.00 may be subject to standard shipping charges. Please call or email for more information.
Cookie Favor Shipping: A Dozen Eggs Favor shipping costs are based on the quantity and destination.
What if my cookies do not arrive?
You will be notified by email, if we are provided with an incorrect address or the package is refused by the recipient and returned to us. A Dozen Eggs will not refund your money for incorrect shipping information or packages refused by recipients. We will ship a new box of cookies at half the cost, but shipping will be charged at full price. If A Dozen Eggs put an incorrect address on the box, we will refund your purchase, or ship a new package at no charge to you.
